By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Carry]John Carry You may be on lookout for a loan that can be used for practically any personal purpose from home development, holidaying, investing in share to purchasing a car, bearing wedding expenses or paying study fees. Well, there are personal loans to provide you funds to carry out any of these personal needs. Personal loans are offered to bear the expenditure of major personal needs and frequently used by borrowers in UK. At times it becomes difficult to take care of personal need due to unavailability of adequate cash. Ignoring the need also creates further problem and causes higher monetary loss. So it remains better to take out a personal loan and get the need fulfiled on time. Since [http://www.go4ukloans.co.uk/personalloan.html target=_blank] personal loans are available with and without collateral, both homeowners as well as tenants can take these loans. May be you are a homeowner or not, you can take unsecured personal loan. For taking secured personal loan you have to be a homeowner with sufficient equity available in it. Secured personal loan offers low rate, big borrowable amount, small repayment instalments and long repayment period. Unsecured personal loan is risk free and provides the borrower with instant cash as there is less documentation in it. The drawback of secured personal loan is its risky nature while unsecured personal loan has its share of demerit in the form of higher interest rate. Bad credit record of a borrower is no longer a big issue with personal loans. So, if you have a poor credit score do not abstain from applying for personal loans. However, to avail a tailor-made loan package that suits your repayment ability best a short research and smart shopping is recommendable. By Joshua Feinberg How do you best establish credibility if you only have a couple of references and you’re just getting started in the consulting businesses? This article will show you how to maximize the effect of the references you have and to get new ones. For starters, make sure those references are as strong as possible and that you get them in writing-on your client’s letterhead. They should also talk of specific benefits, like: How you saved them money How your technology solution generates more revenue How you’ve enabled them to close out the month faster How you’ve improved their productivity How it allows them to communicate with tele-workers, with suppliers, and vendors more seamlessly. For IT marketing, it’s important to make your references as strong as possible-if you only have a few of them. IT Marketing: Getting Your First References If you don’t have any references, get them by volunteering. Pick a nonprofit or two that you feel really passionate about and set up some kind of deal that is close ended. You don’t want to be volunteering your services for too long. As part of your deal, ask them to write a testimonial for you. Nonprofits are usually well known and their recommendation will help you. How Do You Ask for Referrals? Many people are shy about asking for referrals. We don’t want to push our clients and we don’t want to look needy. They are useful for our IT marketing efforts, though. So, what is the best way to ask? Always ask for a referral when someone gives you a compliment. If you walk into an office or you’re finishing up a project and someone says, This stuff is amazing. I can’t believe that I can sit in the conference room now and get my network drive and surf the Web and do email. or This is amazing. Our remote offices can talk to each other and we cut down on $5,000 in leased line charges and we’re doing it all over inexpensive DSL. You guys are terrific. This is your time to act. This is your golden opportunity to ask forAn updated testimonial (or any testimonial if you don’t have one)Ask if they happen to know anyone else who might be able to benefit from your services The Bottom Line on IT Marketing One of the best forms of relationship IT marketing is asking your current clients for testimonials and referrals. Don’t be shy. Your clients will not mind endorsing you if you do good work. Copyright MMI-MMVI, Small Biz Tech Talk. By Suzanne Daykin Creating or designing a cheap wedding centerpiece is an area where your personality can shine through. Don’t feel you have to have a traditional floral arrangement to decorate your tables, although it is an easy choice if your time is limited. As with all wedding planning the best way to get cheap wedding centerpiece ideas is to collect lots of pictures of what you like the look of, think about the mood that you want to create and your theme - colour or place. Putting some height in your centerpiece will add to the look of the whole room, just remember to think about the people sitting at the table - you don’t want them not to see anyone else on the table as they will end up getting moved - which after all your time and effort you definately don’t want. The key to saving money on your centerpieces is to shop around for the parts that will make the whole. Cheap wedding candle centerpieces are popular, make sure you check with your wedding venue as to whether they allow candles. A great way to have an expensive look without it costing the earth is to place your candles on a mirror tile which you can buy from any DIY store. Different height pillar candles will make it look interesting and you could then scatter petals or confetti. Glass bowls filled with water with floating candles is a simple but effective idea. You can then add extras to the bowl in the form of glass beads to match your colour, or shells or flowers or petals - the list is endless! I know of one couple who used pebbles from the beach where the husband proposed. Remember to avoid scented candles during the wedding breakfast as these could detract from the food and wine. Classic candelabras would add a traditional look and you may find that the venue you are using already has these that you could use at no extra cost, you could then add your own touches with ivy, which symbolises wedded bliss, or coloured ribbon. A sweet centerpiece idea is to use photographs of yourselves either from now or early in your relationship. Each table could be different and you could include pictures of those at the table, this could also help as an ice breaker if you have tables of mixed friends or relatives. Or you could frame a love poem or a special phrase. Hope this helps for inspiration! By Nancy Roebke Whether you go to a Chamber of Commerce event, a PTA meeting, the racquetball court, the local health club, or practically anywhere else, opportunities to network present themselves constantly. But there are fears which present themselves as well. For example, we ask ourselves if we are in a situation where talking business might be considered tacky. Will I be considered a ‘hard sell’ type of salesperson for talking about my business at a social gathering? Here’s how to overcome that fear- ask questions! NOT sales questions- questions that someone you are meeting for the first time would be happy to answer. Questions about themselves and their business. Questions that allow you to begin a follow-up program which will be appreciated by your new contact, and will hopefully turn that person into a client with lots of referrals. You’ll notice that the following ten questions are friendly and will tell you something about the way the person thinks. You don’t need to ask all ten every time, but you should know them and be able to ask the ones you deem are appropriate for the particular conversation. They are as follows: 1. How did you get your start in your business? Let them tell you their story. 2. What do you enjoy most about your profession? This question will elicit a positive response. 3. What separates your company from the competition? You have offered this person a chance to tell all. 4. What advice would you give someone just starting in this field? Here’s a chance to be a mentor. 5. What one thing would you do with your business if you knew you couldn’t fail? 6. What significant changes have you seen take place in your profession through the years? 7. What do you see as the coming trends in this field? 8. What was the strangest or funniest incident you’ve experienced in your business? 9. What ways have you found to be the most effective when promoting your business? 10. How would you like people to describe how you do business? Nancy Roebke, is the Executive Director of Profnet Inc, a professional business leads generation corporation. By Tim Connor When girl meets boy, and they begin a new relationship with each other, they tend to look at their partner through a telescope. They only see the qualities, traits, habits and behavior that they want to see. For whatever reason, they fail to observe early signals regarding those qualities and behaviors that they either dont like or want to see. When love is failing, the same boy and girl tend to see each other through a microscope micro-managing every trait, attitude, quality or behavior. It is almost as if they are looking for stuff not to like. This simple illustration, both the relationships that are beginning and those that are failing, will repeat themselves thousands of times today. Why do people fail to see the other person clearly in a new relationship and why do we lose tolerance of even the simplest behavior in a relationship that is in trouble? There are three simple concepts that impact all relationships. They are: People only change when they feel a need to do so. People are always changing. Relationships are dynamic and evolving. Most people in a new relationship put their best foot forward. They want to make a favorable impression on the other person. However, sooner or later, the masks come off and the REAL person will show himself. This often happens early in a relationship, giving the other person a quick glimpse into who the other person really is. In order to not feel that you have been broad-sided by new behavior of the other person, it is critical that you observe carefully both what is said and what is not, what the person does, as well as what they dont do, and how they behave, as well as how they dont behave. There are always clues. Not to see them, or to see them and hope they are only temporary, is to be nave. To believe he/she will change them with time is to live in fantasyland. One of the best recommendations I can make in any new relationship is to pay attention to early signals both the ones given and the ones that are there that you, for whatever reason, dont want to see. We are all capable of changing behavior, but we dont do it because our partner wants us to or thinks we should. We change when we are ready and not before. To believe that your partner will change according to your wishes is to assume that your behavior, attitudes, life outlook or whatever is either right or better than his/hers is. There is no such thing as right or wrong behavior. There is only different behavior, attitudes, feelings and so on. By Valerian D. A facelift is a surgical operation to lift up the facial tissues and skin and/or the underlying muscle, in order to have a tighter and smoother face. A facelift (also called a rhytidectomy) is necessary when we age because our facial muscles become slacker and the skin on the face loses its elasticity, creating folds and lines. Therefore a facelift can reduce saggy skin and wrinkles, producing a more alert and youthful appearance. Depending on circumstances, facelifts are performed on the whole face (a full facelift) or just on the brow area, neck or lower face only. Before the operation, it is very important to discuss with your surgeon about the hopes you have and the results you can realistically expect. You should be aware of::none of facelifts are perfect, they cannot remove the fine lines around the lips for example.the effects of a facelift last for about 7 to 10 years. the best results are achieved in people with a stable body weight.in older people, results are better if skin has some natural elasticity.people spending a lot of time in the sun cannot preserve the facelift results for a long. For a facelift surgery you need to stay one or two nights in hospital. The operation lasts around three to four hours and is usually done under a general anaesthetic. Having a general anaesthetic, you must follow fasting instructions. Certainly, you must not eat or drink for about six hours before anaesthesia. To avoid complications you must give up smoking before the operation, because smoking is an increased risk of blood clots, infection and slows the healing of wounds. Before to weeks of surgery you must also stop to take any anti-inflammatory medicines as they increase the risk of bleeding. Do not forget to have a picture taken before the operation so that the results of surgery can be compared with your new appearance. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Bart_Rutherford] Bart Rutherford Chinese medicine has only recently gained acceptance and prominence in Western society; however the treatment philosophy is more than 3000 years old. Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the principle that humans are a dynamic energy system, where mind and body are unified and balance each other. The underlying structures of Chinese medicine are the theories of yin-yang and the five elements. Both theories are used to explain the physiological and pathological changes of the human body in disease, as well as to guide clinical treatment. Yin-yang theory holds that all natural phenomena consist of two equal and opposing aspects, known as yin and yang. Stillness, darkness, degeneration and organic disease are viewed as characteristics of yin, whilst movement, hyperactivity and functional disease of the body epitomize yang. The theory is also used to explain the anatomical structure of the human body and its physiology function. Opposition of these forces manifest themselves in the body as hyper- or hypo-activity in particular organs and cause blockages of the vital life force, qi. The goal of Chinese medicine is to restore the natural flow of qi, which is theorized to run along invisible pathways known as meridians. Unblocking qi means that the balance between yin and yang is re-instated. A second important principle in Chinese medicine is the five elements theory, which is used to define the interaction between human physiology, pathology and the natural environment. Wood, fire, earth, metal and water are the five elements that the Chinese believe comprise the material world. Each of the organs of the body belongs to a particular element and has the characteristics of that element. For example, the liver and gall bladder are the zang-fu organs of wood. Eye sight is also associated with the wood element. Unlike Western medicine, Chinese medicine is a holistic treatment that considers the inter-relatedness of spirit and body in making a diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Your practitioner will ask questions about your emotional and mental health, which will assist in the physical diagnosis. The goal of therapy is to restore the balance of yin and yang, and allow your qi to flow unimpeded. Chinese medical practitioners use a number of techniques to achieve this goal, including acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal remedies and deep tissue massage. Acupuncture is a very common Chinese medicine therapy. It involves inserting very fine, small needles along your meridians to redirect or restore the flow of vital energy in your body. Moxibustion is a technique where small amounts the herb mugwort are applied to affected areas of your body in order to re-energize hypo-active organs. Cupping is also used to stimulate blood flow in the deep musculature of the body. During the treatment, glass cups are placed onto the skin and the air in the cup is sucked out, creating a vacuum. Herbs are also a crucial part of Chinese medicine; your practitioner will prescribe herbs designed to correct the imbalances seen to be causing your physical condition. You may need to brew the herbs as a tea or infusion, or you may take the herbs as an extract or in a pill. The efficacy of many aspects of Chinese medicine has not been confirmed by scientific studies, however many people the world over celebrate good health as the result of this holistic, ancient treatment system. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Edwards] Tim Edwards Is there really substantial savings to be found from purchasing medications online from Canada? Yes, if you know what you are looking for. Not all medications found in Canada are cheaper than here in the US. Many of our generic brands are actually cheaper here in the US than in Canada. In fact, many Canadians use American online pharmacies to fill their generic prescriptions. But brand name drugs like Lipitor, can be found for in Canada for much less. The reason generics dont offer as much savings in Canada as they do here in the US is because of Canadian price controls. Price controls are stipulations that dictate the price of new drugs introduced into the market. This means that all drugs, brand name or generic, must stay in the same price range. Even though price controls will not allow for a new brand name medication to charge an outlandish amount of money, it also doesnt allow for generic medication to be offered at substantially lower prices than the brand name alternative. The top 7 drugs that offer substantial savings from foreign pharmacies are: US Price Canadian Price Savings1. Zocor 20mg $356.97 for 90 $222.87 for 100 38%2.
